At The August Sisters, self-expression is at the heart of everything they do, inspiring individuality, celebrating creativity, and building a community where everyone feels welcome, supported, and empowered to be themselves.
Meet Hannah
Hannah is a digital marketer, designer, and social media manager based in Chattanooga, TN. With a background in fine arts and a marketing degree from UAGC, she blends creativity with strategy to help brands stand out. Her passion for aesthetics extends beyond design she became a licensed Esthetician in 2018, reflecting her deep appreciation for beauty in all forms. Creativity runs in her family, passed down through generations of artistic women, shaping her unique eye for style and branding.
During high school, Hannah discovered her love for handmaking and began sewing her clothes. Her great-grandmother, a skilled seamstress, passed down this art to her.
Driven by her passion for creativity and business, Hannah launched her first venture, HanMade Maker, where she collaborated with clients to design and create custom pieces, including bridesmaid dresses, elegant formalwear, and wedding gowns. However, she ultimately wanted to work alongside her sister, Sara-Anne. The two creatives joined forces and established their brand, The August Sisters, bringing their shared dream to life.
“I always dreamed of owning my own company, and getting to do it with my sister is truly a dream come true. Our mother taught us to embrace our uniqueness and follow our own path and that’s exactly what we do. We love standing out and making a statement with bold accessories. Growing up wearing school uniforms only fueled our passion for self-expression through fashion, shaping us into the vibrant women we are today. Colors bring us joy, and we fully embrace them in everything we create.”
