We got a Studio!!!

We are so excited to say that we officially have a studio space. Woohoo!!

We are located and apart of the INCubator Chattanooga Area Chamber. The INCubator is dedicated to helping small businesses grow. They provide shared administrative services, manufacturing and office space, training workshops, use of the state-of-the-art Technology Conference Center, and access to free onsite business counseling from the Tennessee Small Business Development Center. It can be a three-year program if we want it to be!

It has been so lovely getting to have a space to be creative in. We are so excited to see what is to come.

Introducing the Fallon's

Hi,

Hannah here

So you see I’m in love…. I’m in love with ALL THINGS GREEN. The Fallon earrings are inspired by my love of the color, vintage gold, and the simplicity of elegance.

Sara-Anne and I have both struggle with perfection. Trying to reach perfection is never going to happen and we know that but we still “try”. I love these earrings so much because of the imperfection of the checkered print. Also look at the imperfect gold vintage post. We pick these out intentionally.

This design is us surrendering to perfection. We always give our all when it comes to designing and making. Our motto is always giving 110%.

As I like to say:

If I were a pair of earrings, I’d be this one.

Peaches to Beach

First Trip with The August Sisters

We packed our bags and hit the road for the longest Georgia's yard sale called Peaches to Beaches. We took highway 341, used only back roads and stopped at a lot of small towns. We love small towns; the simplistic charm, cafes and hidden gems like antique stores that we love to find. This trip was a Georgia trip so all the towns we stopped at we're pure Georgia peach towns such as; Barnesville, Roberta, Ft. Valley, Perry, McRae leading all the way east to Brunswick. I (Hannah) took my dog Mocha on this trip with us. This was her very first road trip and everyone at the yard sales loved her. She was a big hit! She even picked a couple of stuff herself. Her favorite item was her little stuffed-animal bear.

We found so many amazing vintage pieces on this trip. This trip was one of our inspirations to start The August Sisters lifestyle blog and Vintage online shop. Here are some pictures that we took along the way. Our last stop was Jekyll Island. The town and beach there is so beautiful! It's a must see. Oh and my dog, Mocha absolutely loved the beach. She was the cutest thing rolling in the sand and running alongside of the ocean. What a trip indeed. Have any of ya'll been to Peaches to Beaches? If so, let us know! We would love to hear about your trip as well. Did you find any amazing pieces along the way? This trip was so worth it. We definitely recommend it. Just know it's a lot of driving, lots of back roads, and lots of small towns. So don't expect too much. Just enjoy the journey, and take in the drive. AKA our favorite town was Perry. So shoutout to Perry, GA. Thanks for having us Peaches to Beaches. Enjoy of Pictures!

xoxo,
